Guidance of a new approach significantly determines relevant security requests for specific products of goods, obligates producers to satisfy relevant requests, implement (do not oblige)regulated standards as a presumption for satisfying relevant requests, specify conformity assessment procedures and determine requests, role and obligations of a ("notified body").

"Notified body" is a conformity assessment body a country member applied with the European Commission for a specific Directive.

General Approach is specified in the documentation as follows: određeno je:

"It is anticipated that the registered bodies comply with the Directive requests if they can prove their conformity standards (EN 45 000 / EN ISO/IEC 17 000) by submitting accreditation certificate or any other document. Country members may be required to submit relevant documentation to the European commission, based on which they were nominated and registered their conformity standards (EN 45 000 / EN ISO/IEC17 000)".
